Polar Plunge 2007

Hopefully, you can get a little idea about how big this event was. There were something like 8000 people (not ALL plungers, some were spectators like me...but trust me, EVERYONE wanted on those buses to go home at the same time - took me & Misty 2.5 hours of waiting to catch one). The water was awfully chilly, but it was for a good cause. We did our part with donations and Misty actually went in. All told, they raised over $2 million for the Special Olympics. YAY!

SNOW!!!

Okay, so it was only a couple of inches of snow - not even enough to get Tasha off the couch (we had taken her & Shelby for a hike that morning), but it was plenty for Mr. Hope! This was his first snowfall with us. He had his own little coat to protect the patches of skin that still show and he seemed pretty happy with it. He is doing so well.

I figured I owed an extra photo since I have a new camera and yet haven't posted much since then. Isn't Peach such a cutie? He loves to "kill" his fake mice and then carry them off...to who-knows-where. We've given him a ton and yet never find them again once he's decided they're "dead".
