Tasha Scare

This picture is also from the snow/ice day last week; Tasha is enjoying a snowball snack. We had a bit of a scare with her last night/this morning. About 2am, Misty woke up and nudged Tasha with her foot but Tasha didn't move. She pushed against her (Tasha was hogging the bed), but noticed Tasha felt cold and stiff. She tried shaking her and Tasha didn't move, so she jumped up and told me "I think Tasha may have passed away last night". I freaked out as she continued shaking Tasha, who finally responded. She'd been a little lethargic yesterday and has been having a LOT of pee/poo accidents. She's also nearly 14 years old. I would like for her to pass away in her sleep, on the bed with me where she feels safe and comforted...I just didn't want that night to be last night. Misty took her to work today to get her checked out. My poor baby - she might actually be getting "old"!

Ice!!!

Okay, I'm fairly horribly late with this post since the "Ice Storm" (like 3 inches of ice - ha!) was last Wednesday, so I'll give you two photos. Everyone thinks Shelby looks very cute in the above pic, and I had to include Peach below b/c it was his first time out in the snow/ice. He really liked the frozen branches.

Bringing You a Smile for Wednesday

Here is Boulder in what we like to refer to as his "King Tut" pose. He's really not that fat - it's mostly skin and just the way he's sitting that makes him look big.
