Pet Food Recall

In case you haven't heard yet, there is a major recall of dog and cat food. It does not (as yet) affect dry food products - only wet, and only certain wet food at that. However, it does involve several major and quality food brands, including (but not limited to) Iams, Nutro, Eukanuba, and Science Diet. Tasha's Doing Better

Tasha is feeling better - no more middle-of-the-night scares. She's still been very picky about eating and weighs far less than we feel she should. She's being spoiled, of course, with real chicken (and that's a lot to ask for from vegetarians) and rice-a-roni and lots of wet food. Anything to fatten her up. I'm sure that part of her being picky is to get the "better" food, but she's old enough at this point that we don't mind indulging her a little. She could use getting her teeth cleaned, but there's no huge rush. I got a nice raise at work, so we'll put Tasha down for a dental next month.

The above is a very cute moment between Mr. Hope and Tasha. Of course, about 5 seconds after I took the photo, Tasha woke up, realized she wasn't alone on the bed, and went into the other room.
